2016 Los Angeles Summit - April 4-5th

Thank you to all who attended, hosted, sponsored, spoke and supported the 2nd Annual LASC Sustainability Summit here in Los Angeles. The Summit was held on April 4-5 and included four project tours hosted by LA Metro and Councilman Curren Price, a VIP Reception hosted by Chinese based firm CRRC, an Awards Dinner and several workshops reviewing Los Angeles Sustainability Programs.

LASC provided a forum to leverage best practices, demonstrated innovative solutions, provided training and established strategies to meet the sustainability goals for the future. We are privileged to work with public agency’s infrastructure leaders who will discuss their strategies to make the Los Angeles Region a more livable, safe, and mobile region.  Alongside with City, County, Regional, and State agencies, we are all working together to provide information, open collaborative opportunities, as well as nurture relationships to ensure a continuing dialogue for cooperation.  Through such engagements we create immeasurable positive impacts to our communities and stakeholders. Each year LASC will recognize the public agencies for their contributions and implementation of Sustainable programs.

LASC started the Transportation On The Move Series with Metro’s Chief Executive Officer, Phil Washington.  As the leader of the third largest transit agency, his leadership will help shape the Los Angeles region well into the next decade. Our commitment to a better Los Angeles environment starts with the public agencies. We can achieve Los Angeles Regional Sustainability by leveraging successful programs. LASC’s Transportation On The Move Series provided a forum to work together, set new targets, establish joint strategies, provide training, resources, and recommend achievable environmental goals for the future years.
